Dan Dan grandit en apprenant que sa mère biologique est morte, mais devient malgré tout une jeune femme travailleuse. Un matin, elle entend sa belle-mère et son demi-frère parler de quelque chose qui semble être un problème pour la famille. Pendant ce temps, Young Guk est un père célibataire de trois enfants après avoir perdu sa femme il y a deux ans. Il demande à un ami de l'aider à trouver un tuteur à domicile.

Dan Dan prend Young Guk pour un beau criminel psychopathe, comme dans les films, et elle le frappe à la tête avec sa bouteille d'eau. Young Guk se retrouve avec une coupure sur le front et est déconcerté par la tentative de pardon de Dan Dan. Pendant ce temps, Guk Hee suggère à Dan Dan de passer un entretien pour devenir le tuteur de la maison de Young Guk.

Dan Dan est engagée comme tutrice chez Young Guk, grâce à l'aide de Sa Ra. Cependant, elle a des problèmes dès sa première nuit de travail. Pendant ce temps, Sa Ra est invitée par Young Guk dans un restaurant chic et commence à avoir de l'espoir. Alors que Dan Dan essaie de s'habituer à vivre et à travailler dans la maison de Young Guk, elle rencontre un visage familier inattendu.

Dan Dan et Soo Cheol réalisent qu'ils travaillent dans le même foyer et s'inquiètent que leur employeur puisse penser qu'ils préparent quelque chose de suspect. Pendant ce temps, la mère, le frère et la nièce de Yeon Sil reviennent après avoir travaillé à l'étranger pendant cinq ans. Elle leur demande de venir à l'annexe de la maison de Young Guk et des problèmes s'ensuivent.

La famille de Young Guk traite Soo Chul comme s'il était un parasite et un fraudeur, et le met à la porte.
