After Baek-ho unwittingly moves into Mi-kyung's guest house and sets up an office at her lab, she turns the village against him — resulting in a fiasco.

After Mi-kyung panics to avoid running into Baek-ho, he comes to her aid during a potato cooking competition. She later runs into a figure from her past.

Baek-ho deals devastating news to Mi-kyung, forcing her to figure out her next steps. But later, an emergency forces the two to work together.

Baek-ho and Mi-kyung see new sides of each other, and feelings begin to blossom. A new arrival at the guesthouse stirs jealousy in Mi-kyung.

After a shakeup at the potato lab, Baek-ho and Mi-kyung take a business trip together. But soon after, Baek-ho starts avoiding her, leaving her confused.
